When I got married, the very last thing I purchased was a garter. It was out of sight out of mind type of thing, and so you know, the second to last thing I bought was my wedding dress. Since I’ve been a wedding planner, I put it into every budget. Brides, many times, ask me where they should get one and I usually just told them the dress shop they purchased their gown at, and then I stumbled upon The Garter Girl , by Julianne Smith. I am SO glad there’s a better resource out there to show off these things, and that they are handmade, they make me appreciate them a little more, and because if you know me, I have a soft spot for handmade items. If you want to get to know her more you can jump over to her site, but I made it easy for you here…I just stole it from her site…but, is she not seriously relateable?? I mean..Food Network ?! BFF’s we could be Julianne, BFF’s.
